- A new screen will appear, allowing you to select files from your computer. Click the “Select Files” button and choose the media files you want to upload. Alternatively, you can drag and drop files into the upload area.
- Uploading Process:
- Once you’ve selected your files, WordPress will begin uploading them. You’ll see a progress bar indicating the status of the upload.
- Add Details (Optional):
- After the upload is complete, you can add additional details to your media files. You can provide a title, caption, alt text, and description. This step is optional but can be beneficial for accessibility and SEO.
- Note: please do add an alt text describing the image. The alt text box should be on the top-right section of the image details screen.
- Insert Media into Posts or Pages:
- After the media is uploaded, you can easily insert it into your posts or pages. When creating or editing a post/page, use the “Add Media” button within the editor to select and insert media from your library.
